A Tale Of Two Galaxies

Super Mario Galaxy 2.... is a pretty cool guy. Addition of Yoshi, an ACTUAL second player, improved graphics, a different gameplay mechanic in ALL 242 levels! New Power-ups for both Mario and Yoshi, Luigi accessibility from very early in the game rather than right at the very end AND improved graphics. I could go on, but I wont't... for some reason. I have currently acquired 90-something Stars which are awarded for finishing each level, I STILL haven't been to every galaxy, which is a good sign, meaning that I'll be playing it for a while. Paris and I have been playing for hours already, with her grabbing coins and extra lives and what not. Which has been a great because the game is REALLY hard, like, 5 times harder than the first one. And that was pretty hard. It's basically the same game as the first Galaxy, just more, which is great considering the first game was so successful.

Never in a video game have the words, "More of the same" been so warmly recieved.

W00T! HELLZ YES! SUPERCALA-FREAKIN' AWESOME! Now, not only is Zelda: Skyward Sword coming out for the Wii, but they are remaking The Ocarina of Time for the 3DS! YESH! Ocarina of Time remade! AND IN 3D! Excitement! Exclamation mark! Happy face! One thing I hope they fix is that freaking Water Temple, now that was stupidly hard.

Whispering Oaks! I used to go there as a kid! Great, now we can die there as adults..

So, I just finished playing Left 4 Dead 2 with my 11 year old sister, who by the way is terrified of zombies. Yeah, I was playing one of the greatest zombie games, temporarily banned by the Australian government due to it's blood and gore-ness, disgusting zombies and awesome amounts of killing (not to mention all the cursing, uh-muh) with my little zombie terrified sister.

Surprisingly enough she loved it. She thoroughly enjoyed weilding her axe and slashing zombies, setting them on fire, pushing them off a rollercoaster with a guitar, and luring them to a pile of trucks that were detonated by a man that we gave some old fashioned cola. I am pleasantly surprised and we will continue to play it laughing away at the hilariousness of me having to rescue her from nearly every zombie that appears. Well that's all, and yes it was another game related post... maybe that's my thing. Hopefully next time will be different.

Gotta Catch 'Em All!..... Only use six..

Ok, so Pokemon Black and White were announced a few weeks ago (yes, yes another game related post, stop bitching) and as a fan of the series, I'm genuinely excited, what with the proper 3-D graphics and all. But, I have to wonder where are they going to go with new species? They have 493 ALREADY!!!!! And they're going to make another what? 150? Jeez! And the ones they've released as sneak previews look awful! Except for one of them, they look ok. BUT THAT ISN'T THE POINT! In fact I've lost track of the point... Oh yeah, so as a collector I'm expected to buy this game when it comes out (I'm getting Black, yes I've already decided) and I'd better not be disappointed!!

Reach, Reach, Reach, Reach....

So, the Halo Reach Beta has been out for two weeks on Monday 3:00am (precise, I know). And I don't want to sound like a crazy fanboy or anything but I just have to say, IT FREAKIN' KICKS ASS! Which is both a good thing and bad thing, see even though it is awesome beyond awesomeness, I can't play it unless I'm at Jordan's *sadface*. Because my wireless router decided to break JUST before it came out. No joke. Seriously though, the game is awesome. Here is a picture of me and Jordan in the game, pretty cool, right? RIGHT?!?!? I am the one on the right beating the crap out of Jordan with a skull, 'cause I'm awesome and do what I want.

Well, here it is. My blog..... exciting. Penny Lane has been bothering me about it since she got the idea, which was a couple of days ago. A COUPLE OF DAYS OF PURE HELL. So why Ted, you may ask... No? No one cares? Well too bad I'll tell you anyway since I have nothing else to talk about, so here it is, we decided to refer to it as Ted. That's it. That's the exciting story that sums up the magnificence of this blog.
